SIG Roofing partners with industry-leading product manufacturers to supply over 40,000 different roofing products for pitched, flat and industrial roofing projects. It has a fleet of over 400 vehicles based across its 100+ well-stocked branch network nationwide, and with a team of experienced and long-standing staff, it delivers a service to its customers that goes way beyond product supply.
CEO, Gavin Crane is delighted that SIG Roofing has chosen to support BoB.
“We are thrilled that SIG Roofing has chosen to support Band of Builders, and we see great potential in the strategic partnership moving forward.
“The partnership gives our charity greater visibility and reach to the staff and customers of all of the SIG Roofing brands – meaning we can promote our work to a wider audience. This will hopefully help us increase the size of our volunteer base. SIG Roofing is keen to get involved not only by supplying materials for forthcoming projects but also by encouraging staff to visit sites to volunteer on projects.”
SIG Roofing has confirmed that its first initiative with BoB will be providing products for Jim's Project in Bellshill from their nearby branch in Glasgow, just two miles away from the site.
SIG Roofing also intends to host the Big Brew event in over 100 branch locations. The Big Brew event organised by BoB, aims to bring tradespeople together over a cup of tea to support each other and break the stigma surrounding mental health.
“At SIG Roofing, we’re proud of our deep roots in local roofing communities, and, with our national reach, we’re always looking for ways to make a positive difference and support important causes.
“When we heard about Band of Builders and their mission, we immediately felt a strong connection. Seeing firsthand the amazing work they do to support construction workers and their families in times of need, whether it’s illness, injury or other life-changing events, really struck a chord with us. Their efforts align with our values, helping not just our customers but also our colleagues.
“We’re also inspired by Band of Builders’ work to promote mental health awareness and support in the construction industry and can’t wait to help spread the word about all the incredible things they’re doing.”
